Yoga for me (says Elaine) is about community; even though I don't live in the same place or don't see them anymore I still feel connected to the people I have practiced with and learned from.  It is about self-study and creating the stillness and space, physically and mentally to allow connection.

I have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga daily for six years and have so much more to learn from it but I want those in my community to experience at least some of the value that I received from the practice.  It is the reason I personally eat 'bond street' food, the reason I had the courage to start Bond Street Eats and to keep going and it is why we do business the way we do. Despite its influence, this element was missing from Bond Street for the first year, so this is a step towards that connection......a simple space (kindly shared by @wanderingcooks) where you can come and practice with me.  I will teach you the basics and the foundations to develop your own self-practice but in a group setting so it's suitable for complete beginners.

One of the beauties of this practice is you can come anytime for as long or as little time as you have available on that day.  It is lighthearted yet strict, we may laugh a little and there could be coffee or chai after, but most importantly it will be a few minutes in our day to focus on our breath and create connection with ourselves and each other!

Our little community now meets online 6.30am - 8am Mon-Thurs plus guided class Saturday 7.30am.

$30 per week or pay what you can. Please get in touch if you would like to join us.  elaine@bondstreeteats.com
